...sewed together. I hung it on my wall because after all this is my home for two years and it should look like home. At least, a place where someone lives. A missionary who was in the bank asked how much it was and agreed that it was worth three pounds and I paid that for it even though three pounds seemed like a lot of money.
Yesterday we had a most severe thunder storm. The concussions rocked my house and threw Corwin half-way out of bed, because he was nearer the striking point by several blocks.
Someone died yesterday within a couple of blocks of me and last night I wakened to hear chanting and lamenting at the wake. It was a funny sensation to hear it in the middle of a dark night with your mind half awake and half asleep. I didn't exactly like it.
