When I found this piece of wood, the face of a kind dog revealed itself. I saw, however, that while this dog was strong and gentle, he also had important personality issues.

I have come to accept them.

There are often strange personality traits, or separate personality states altogether, buried beneath the calm exterior presentation of face, manner and physical bearing. Yet while this gentle canine may suffer a dissocative personality disorder, is it not just part of the human conditition?
