David Burgner was born July 12, 1850 on the Burgner farm in New Portage, Ohio, now part of South Akron near the intersections of East Avenue, Waterloo Road and Norton Road. He married Rebecca J. Guiley ‏(daughter of Samuel Guiley and Julia Ann Bliler)‏ in 13 OCT 1872, and lived on part of the John Burgner Homestead. Dates and places recorded in: The Burgner Family - 1734 - 1890.
