_________:
Chuck and I are trying to make a corsage out of orchids. Ka Hinis apparently was pleased so I guess it was all right even though it was our first attempt.
First attempt makes me think of another thing -- It is hard to get a barber on the Du so often the boys cut one anothers hair. Chuck had attempted to cut his own and it was just a series of notches so I undertook to smooth those notches out. I had only a pair of ten cent sewing scissors and a thick comb but the job really wasn't bad, if I had had a pair of clippers to trim close on his neck, as it is, three days will straighten that out.
You know when I get a way from here it will have been two years since I have seen a motion picture show or seen a play or seen a woman who isn't married (except missionaries) but that doesn't bother me -- much. Old experience will be new again I reach Paris, London or New York.
